About
Us
ABC belongs to the Baptist Convention of
Ontario and Quebec. Our Church was founded in 1864 and the building
was erected in 1868 We cherish the spiritual heritage of the founding
members as well as the quaintness of the building.
Pastor Paul Benson graduated from Emmanuel Bible College in Kitchener,
Ontario in 1970. He began his ministry at Neustadt Baptist Church
near Hanover, Ontario, and has also pastored in the London, Haliburton
and Almonte areas. He served as Chaplain at St. Joe's Hospital in
London and for a period of 10 years owned and operated a private
music business.
God has called Pastor Paul to the unique ministry of planting new
churches, restoring both spiritually and physically churches that
have almost closed their doors, to eventually leading the church
into building expansion projects. Pastor Paul has been at ABC for
3 years and continues to see a once small church grow and mature
in Christ.
Linda, Paul's wife, works with him as a team and leads the music
ministry at the church. They have 3 adult children and currently
10 grandchildren. They enjoy sharing their love for the Lord through
music, and spending quality time with family and friends.
ABC is a warm and friendly church family and we invite you to join
us and experience the joy of loving God and loving each other.
